Receiving FNB Personal Loan funds
Once the NCA quotation is accepted, FNB pays the approved Rand amount under that agreement. The product page at fnb.co.za/loans/personal-loan.html states neither same-day EFT, nor next-day clearing, nor a cash-branch option, so payout timing is something your consultant confirms.
What FNB puts in writing
You know the ceiling (R450,000), the floor (R1,000), and the worked example (R30,000 over 24 months). You do not know, from that URL, which bank account must receive the credit or how many hours the transfer takes. Ask inside the FNB App or on 087 730 5596 if the App status stays blank after you sign.
After the money lands
The instalment is fixed. On terms longer than 7 months, credit life is mandatory (FAQ) and Take-a-break can skip January if debit order or EFT stays up to date. A later top-up should not add a second initiation fee; the R69 service charge remains one line.
If nothing arrives
Match the account number on the signed agreement. Public holidays can delay interbank credits, but that is general payment-system behaviour, not an FNB promise. Use *120*321# or 087 730 5596 with the application reference. Do not pay a stranger to “release” funds.
