CreditDeals.io is an informational financial comparison platform. We are not a bank, lender, microfinance organisation or insurer and do not issue loans or credit products.
CreditDeals.io is a financial comparison service operated by RocketMedia LLC, a company in the Republic of Kazakhstan. We are not a bank, credit provider or insurer. A lender decides whether to grant credit.
Personal information we collect
On the application: name, South African ID number, phone, email, date of birth, city, approximate income, amount and term. We also collect technical data such as IP address, device and cookies.
Why we use it
To deal with the application you submit:
- Compare options and send the application to credit providers and the networks that represent them, so they can assess it and, where possible, make an offer.
- Prevent fraud and meet legal duties.
Direct marketing
Email and SMS promotions are a separate purpose and are not required for the application. The form has a collapsed notice: if you do not tick the refusal, we may send those promotions. Ticking it does not affect the application or the offers.
POPIA
We process the application because you asked us to pass it to credit providers, and where the law requires it. Email and SMS promotions follow the visible refusal on the application: if you do not tick it, you stay in that purpose and can object later. You may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).

Cross-border transfers
The operator is in Kazakhstan. Lenders, networks and hosting may be outside South Africa. We transfer what is needed to process the application you asked for, with the safeguards POPIA requires for cross-border processing. A transfer to the marketing partner follows the refusal on the form: if you do not tick it, contact details may be shared for email and SMS.
Retention
We keep the application for as long as we need to handle it, prevent fraud and meet legal or claims duties. Information used only for promotions stops being used that way when you object.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction or deletion, and you may object, by emailing info@creditdeals.io. You may also contact the Information Regulator.
Security and children
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures. No internet transmission is completely secure.
The service is not for anyone under 18.
