Worked cost on fnb.co.za
R30,000 / 24 months / 18% produces R1,796 a month including fees and a total cost of R41,445. That row includes the R69 service charge, the R1,207.50 initiation, and a R100 credit-life illustration.
Top-up and Take-a-break
A top-up waives initiation and still bills one R69 fee. Take-a-break is a January skip on terms longer than 7 months when debit order or EFT is up to date (FAQ PDF).
Eligibility silence
FNB does not publish a minimum age or a rand income floor on that URL. The NCA still requires an affordability test. Bureau files at TransUnion or Experian are the usual South African source for that test; the product page does not confirm which file FNB pulls.
