Repayment may run up to 72 months. The instalment is fixed. The official example uses 24 months on R30,000.

On fnb.co.za, R30,000 over 24 months at 18% is R1,796 a month including fees, with a credit-life illustration of R100, monthly service R69, initiation R1,207.50, and a total cost of R41,445.

Yes on terms longer than 7 months, according to the FAQ. The page example illustrates R100. Shorter terms are not given a public credit-life rule in the facts used for this review.

The FAQ PDF describes a January payment holiday on terms longer than 7 months if you pay by debit order or EFT and the account is up to date.
