Receiving funds on a Capitec Personal Loan
Payout starts only after you accept the pre-agreement quotation. The product is a single rand advance. You do not receive a reusable limit. If you wanted to draw, repay and redraw, that is Capitec’s Credit Facility, a different contract.
What lands in the account
The calculator allows R1,000–R500,000. The approved figure on the quotation is the amount that should credit, subject to any fee Capitec deducts or adds as disclosed. The published example of R50,000 over 48 months at 22% (total R84,811) is a cost illustration, not a payout promise.
Where the money goes
Capitec names the receiving account on the agreement. Many existing clients use a Capitec transactional account already linked in the app. If you bank elsewhere, check the lender before you assume an interbank EFT. Capitec states no same-day or next-day payout clock.
After the credit posts
Match the deposit to the quotation. If the amount differs, call 0860 10 20 43 or write to info@capitecbank.co.za with the loan reference. Public holidays and late-evening accepts can push the credit to the next processing window; confirm that with Client Care rather than guessing.
What this is not
This is not card plastic and not a revolving facility. You receive loan proceeds. Instalments then run for the term you accepted (7–84 months on the calculator).
