What the app is for on this SKU
Use it to apply for the standard Personal Loan, open a provisional offer, and later watch the booked account. The product remains up to R350,000 over up to 84 months with a personalised APR from 13.75% p.a. Browser users stay on https://ib.absa.co.za/login.
What the app is not
Tapping an Instant Loan control (R350–R8,000, up to 35 days) opens a different contract. Express (R1,500–R8,000, 1–6 months) is likewise separate. Neither changes the Personal Loan quotation.
Troubleshooting
If install or login fails, confirm the developer name, delete unofficial clones, and retry from the links above. OTP delays usually mean a stale mobile number on the Absa profile. The public cost illustration is still R2,113 a month on R50,000 over 36 months at 18%, fees included; the app will not override that with an unpublished percentage.
