Repaying your Dengoo loan
Repayment is built around an authorised debit order created when you sign the credit agreement. Each due date, the instalment leaves your nominated South African account automatically unless you arrange an alternative with Dengoo. You may also make manual payments or early settlements through the borrower portal at dengoo.co.za.
Standard collection
The debit order covers principal, interest and permitted service fees according to the schedule in your agreement. Maintain sufficient cleared funds the night before the debit date to avoid unpaid items and bank dishonour charges on top of lender fees.
Paying early or topping up
The National Credit Act gives every borrower the right to settle early without penalty. On request Dengoo must quote a settlement figure covering outstanding principal and accrued interest to the proposed date, credit the payment within three business days, and charge interest only for the days you actually held the loan. Log into your personal account to request a payoff quote or push a manual EFT using the reference format shown online.
When an instalment fails
Late payment charges apply as specified in your signed agreement — Dengoo does not publish a universal rand late fee in open marketing, so read the pre-agreement wording carefully. Interest continues to accrue on the unpaid balance at the contracted rate. Persistent arrears can lead to negative listings at bureaux such as TransUnion SA and Experian SA, followed by handover to a registered debt collector or legal proceedings after the prescribed non-payment period.
Contact info@dengoo.co.za before the due date if income disruption is likely — voluntary arrangements beat silent defaults.
Extensions and rollovers
Product-specific deferrals depend on Dengoo's live policy. Treat any rollover as new cost of credit and read the revised disclosure before accepting. Consumers under formal debt review may not take fresh credit under NCA rules.
