Not applicable — this is a transactional savings account, not a loan.
Loan Extension
Not applicable — no fixed term applies to a cheque account.
Penalties
Insufficient funds penalties apply if a debit order or scheduled payment is returned unpaid (dishonour fee ~R9.20 per returned item). No penalty for closing the account with proper notice.
