EC Online Loans offers a personal account portal that serves two functions: tracking the status of your loan application and accessing a credit report that is provided as part of the service. Once a match is established and a credit agreement is signed, the active loan management portal is hosted by the matched NCR-registered lender — not by EC Online Loans.
How to Log In to EC Online Loans
- Open https://econlineloans.co.za/ in your browser.
- Click the Login or My Account link in the site navigation.
- Enter the email address and password registered during your application.
- If you applied recently, login credentials are emailed to you upon creation of your account profile.
- For the credit report portal specifically, login details are sent to your email address once the credit report fee is processed.
Features of the EC Online Loans Account
- View the status of your current loan application and matched offers.
- Access your credit report (credit profile with scoring information and guidance on improving your rating).
- Update personal contact details (email, phone, address).
- Download or view correspondence from partner lenders.
- Request a new application if no active enquiry is open.
Managing Your Active Loan
Once your credit agreement is signed with a matched lender, log in directly to that lender's borrower portal to:
- View your outstanding balance and next payment date.
- Make additional payments or request an early settlement quote.
- Manage your DebiCheck mandate.
- Contact lender support.
Troubleshooting
Cannot log in. Confirm you are using the correct email address (the one registered with EC Online Loans during application). Reset the password via the "Forgot password" link on the login page.
Did not receive login credentials. Check your spam and junk folders. If the email has not arrived within 30 minutes of registration, contact queries@econlineloans.co.za.
Forgot password. Use the password-reset link on the login page. A reset email will be sent to your registered address. If you no longer have access to that email, contact support at 087 943 2500.
Credit report not appearing. The credit report module is activated upon payment of the credit report fee. Verify payment processed correctly and allow up to one business day for the report to populate.
OTP or verification message not arriving. Ensure your mobile number is active and in network coverage. Wait 60 seconds, then request a resend. If the issue persists, contact support.

Is there a dedicated login page for the active loan? Yes — once matched with a lender, use that lender's own portal for all active loan management. EC Online Loans' portal is primarily for the application and credit-report phase.
Can I update my bank account details through the portal? Contact the matched lender directly to update banking details. Do not update sensitive financial information through any link received via unsolicited email.
